Its purpose is to build a membership of individuals who have the opportunity to be educated through seminars, workshops, informational brochures from the national and local levels, and through training in the areas of operating a business within the building industry.

It is also the goal of the Remodelers to educate the public through press releases, feature stories and the local media as to the purpose of the NAHB Remodelers of Greater Fox Valley and how to work with and select a remodeler.

As a member of the National Association of Home Builders Remodelers, members pledge to:

  • Conduct our business operations in a manner that will reflect credit upon ourselves, the Remodelors Council, and the remodeling industry.
  • Comply both in spirit and letter with rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for the health, safety, and welfare of the community
  • Describe accurately and honestly the price, material, and standards of workmanship used in our jobs
  • Use only materials and products equal to or exceeding the quality of those specified in the contract
  • Start the construction process as soon as feasible upon award of the contract and proceed diligently to completion of the project without unnecessary delays
  • Cooperate with the Remodelors Council in responding to and resolving complaints against my company or other council members
