HBAGFV Leadership & Committees

HBAGFV seeks the active involvement of its members. Our Board changes annually, and there are plenty of opportunities for committee involvement.

Committees

Joining a committee is a great way to get involved in the association. You can meet new members, share ideas, and demonstrate expertise to fellow colleagues. If you are interested in joining one of the committees listed below, please contact administration@buildfoxvalley.com

Program Committee: Plans six of our monthly General Membership Meetings, and also executes our Pot Of Luck and Calcutta Meetings, as well as our Year End Holiday Installation Banquet.

Governmental Affairs: Works closely with Local, State, and National Government Groups, and Coordinates Grass Roots efforts on behalf of our general membership.

Membership Committee: Develops programs for increasing and retaining membership.

Green Building Committee: Develops educational programs for introducing, integrating, and promoting green building practices in the homes our members build.

Remodeling Committee: This committee is comprised of both Remodeling Contractors and Suppliers and SubContractors.  The goal of this committee is to discuss topics that focus on the Remodeling side of the Building Industry.  In the past, community service projects including providing accessible ramps to homes, replacing doors, and even adding on an entire new home section for the Deveraux family in St. Charles were projects the Remodelers spearheaded.

Education Committee: Developing and implementing programs and speakers that cover a variety of topics. Golf Outing Committee: Plans the day long July golf outing for the association.
